IC2012- Washington DC

Registration for BBYO international convention starts on OCTOBER 4^th. For you new members, IC will seriously be one of the highlights of your year if you chose to go. (IC this year will be feb.13-18)

You will meet AZAs and BBGs from around the world! Last year in Atlanta, around 1100 people from BBYO were there. If you go to any international event, this is it. Non-stop fiesta.

More info will be rolling in, as it gets closer.

Oct. 7^th- BBGG with Wisconsin Region!

On Sunday, October 7th, we'll be heading to Gurnee, IL, to engage in athletic programming with Wisconsin Region BBYO! Save the date, details to come soon.

Nov. 9-11 YLTC/Kallah- Save the date for these 2 wonderful conventions! You’ll hear all about them at the meeting

Nov 17- sisterhood sleepover

The sleepover is on the 17th of November and you guys will work with Jayne's body image awareness committee for this specific sleepover. 

She also needs 3 girls (who will be interviewed) to be on the Teen Connect Committee!

If you are as political as I am, I STRONGLY encourage you to check this out. BBYO international events are personally my favorite thing ever. 
As Jewish teens, we have the responsibility to uphold obligations to our community and country. At Voice Your Vote, we will learn about both sides of the 2012 election so that we can make educated decisions and advocate for what you believe in. We will have the opportunity to volunteer on both sides of the campaign and learn how we can stay civically engaged well after the election. Register on B-Linked!
So basically this is a 3 day long international event. It will be Nov. 5-7 (you get to miss school) in Cleveland Ohio! Not only is it educational, but it's a total fiesta. I HIGHLY recommend it.

WELCOME BACK AHAVAH!

It's been too long. 

I'm also proud to welcome our new members,

we're very happy to have you :) 

Well my name is Emma Schneider, and I send out the emails, texts and all that! 

My position is called Mazkirah. 

You'll get emails just like this one every week. 

This week we have a meeting The JCC in Buffalo Grove

Once again, we meet Wednesday at 7-8:30, and just a heads up, it's a BBYO tradition to go to Culvers after.

the theme this week is CHICAGO in honor of Kickoff at Navy Pier! if you dress up, you'll get your photo on the blog! 

KICK OFF AT NAVY PIER WILL BE RAD BY THE WAY
